Activity Description

Flights done in the 6 seater Bell Long Ranger helicopter. This is an exhilarating flight that swoops over deep and mysterious gorges, through lush valleys bursting with vegetation and colour. We will linger above cascading waterfalls, allowing for spectacular photographic opportunities.

The flight will continue along the escarpment to God’s Window, which offers awesome panoramic views of the bushveld below and on to the fascinating and dramatic rock formations of the 1 000-meter-deep, 30-kilometer-long Blyde River Canyon, (the third deepest and greenest Canyon in the World). Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the curious Three Rondavels.

Landing at the ultimate picnic site, indulge in a delicious picnic accompanied by fine South African sparkling wine whilst soaking up the endless vistas of the Mpumalanga Lowveld.

NOTE: We collect passengers from any of the lodges in the Hazyview area (provided the lodge has a heli-pad), the Sabi Sand and Timbavati area. From the Sabi Sand / Timbavati area, there are two scheduled flights per day, so as not to interfere with game drive times.
