Departing from Hippo Hollow in Hazyview, we follow the Sabi River Valley along the edge of the Escarpment.
This is an exhilarating flight that swoops over deep and mysterious gorges, through lush valleys bursting with vegetation and colour. We will linger above roaring rivers and cascading waterfalls, allowing for spectacular photographic opportunities.
The flight will continue along the escarpment to God’s Window, which offers awesome panoramic views of the bushveld below and on to the fascinating and dramatic rock formations of the 1 000-metre-deep, 30-kilometre-long Blyde River Canyon, (the third deepest and greenest Canyon in the World).

What a fantastic experience this has been!!! Starting from the first booking through their website all the way through to a later email communication (for adding additional pax), making contact with Mpumalanga Helicopter Company was nice and easy with near-immediate response times. On the day of the flight, our "check-in" was "smooth sailing" and very friendly and effortless. The flight itself was absolutely spectacular! We got to see many of the local sights from a perspective you can only get from the air, and as we were visiting several places later on during the next couple of days from the "ground level" (Lisbon and Berlin waterfalls, Graskop Gorge, Blyde River Canyon), it was a wonderful possibility to see these sights from different angles. For myself as a first-time visitor to this region, it was beautiful, and for the other pax (who had grown up in the region and had visited some of these places some 30 years ago) it was putting a different perspective on things they had seen and known for years but only from the ground level. Thus I would say that the flight is certainly an experience for both first-time visitors and locals alike. - Juergen
